It takes a great deal of bravery to start therapy. My role is to honor that bravery with attention, care, acceptance, and options toward the changes you want to see in life.

Licensed Professional Counselor

Licensed to practice in Oklahoma, number 6392

Background & Education

Happy to dive in and tell you a bit about my professional path to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010 before earning my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2015. I completed a one-year internship through the OU Medical Center in the Child Study Center before transitioning into a community mental health setting. Beginning in 2017, I moved into private practice to prioritize serving those with OCD and related disorders as well as anxiety disorders.

Theoretical Orientation

Therapists are in a unique position to help those in need when properly trained to do so. My mission as a cognitive behavioral, ethical provider of mental health services is to align myself with best practices in order to provide clients with the most reliable interventions and treatments based on science, not on personal opinion. You deserve more than what any one individual “thinks” is best for you in your time of need; you deserve a skilled individual who forms their professional opinion based on up-to-date and extensively researched evidence-based interventions that have shown significant positive impact for individuals dealing with the same issues you are experiencing.
