Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) affects all ages and genders and is characterized as having obsessions (unwanted/distressing thoughts, images, urges) and related compulsions (behaviors performed to make the obsessions “quiet down” or stop for a short period). While OCD obsessions and compulsions take on a wide variety of forms, there are key features of this diagnosis that separate it from other mental health disorders.

Following is a list of other disorders closely related to OCD. All of these diagnoses are treated at Willow Tree therapy. The click button will take you to a more detailed list of OCD and related disorders provided by the International OCD Foundation.
